Q: Can I lay vinyl plank flooring over bamboo? I know it sounds crazy, but my dark bamboo in my kitchen is so chipped and damaged, and with no sheen left. I really don’t want to have to pull it all up.
A: I know of no reason you cannot install the vinyl plank over the bamboo. Or perhaps you could have the bamboo buffed and another coat of finish applied.
