Replacing or darkening a laminate board that is lighter than the others

Q: I’ve got Balterio Quatro 8 Laminate flooring in Oak Barrique colour. The fitter was excellent regarding the actual fitting, but careless in that one plank smack in the centre of the living room has noticeably lighter areas than the rest of the room.

He should have noticed this as he fitted the Laminate and put that plank elsewhere. Is it possible to work in some wax or cream / stain to darken the lighter areas please?

A: I don’t think I would do as you suggest. I would contact the manufacturer and get their view. Maybe you can spread the floor apart and remove and change the panel. I know Torlys has such a tool that works with their floors.
