Q: My old real hard wood floors have dog urine stains in some spots, past the finish. Now whenever it is damp outside the house stinks. What can I do? I cannot afford a new floor.
A: I’ve heard hydrogen peroxide has been used with some success when sprayed on such spots. This would have to be 25% or higher. There is another product I’d love to try called stain solver, made by a retired builder. www.stainsolver.com. And there are a few other products that neutralize the enzymes. You would have to do a search for them.
