Q: Can soot left for 6 months on engineered hardwood flooring cause black spots and lines on the floor?
A: Soot is fine like talc. I could see it easily seeping into grain and tiny gaps. Whether it would permanently discolor a finished product I don’t know. Can it not be vacuumed up?
