Q: I spilled TSP on my hardwood floor. I thought I had cleaned it thoroughly, however, there are now dark spots in areas that I missed. Is there anyway for me to remove these stains without calling a professional?
I believe the floor is oak.
A: Sounds like a water stain. You will likely have to hand sand the spots to bare wood with fine sandpaper.
