Q: I was using a Bostitch floor nailer for stapled flooring, I misplaced it twice and buried a staple in the top of a floor board. I saw it only after the entire row was laid! I used prefinished (Bruce) hardwood flooring. What to do? Try to sink it? Using what kind of tool?
A: A staple? I would cut out the board and drop in a new one. You should be able to find a board of the same length. Simply remove the bottom of the groove on the side and end of the board and use adhesive to hold it in place.
