When to put furniture and area rugs back

Q: We are just putting poly on. When all is said and done, how long do we need to wait before we can put furniture back?

A: I would allow 2-3 days and no area rugs for a month.

A: That depends on the finish you are using. Every manufacturer has their own “recipe” and you need to consult them for cure times.  I would allow the floor finish to harden a couple of weeks at least.

A: Are you telling me this is glued down? You should be OK the next day.
