Q: I want my five units to be lightly buffed and recoated. The floors are very bad. I can not afford to replace them. How would the scratches look after screening and recoating with oil poly?
A: All existing dings and scratches will probably still show up. If any areas were worn to the point of having no finish and the wood became discoloured this will also look darker with another coat of finish. But, at least the rooms will look brighter.
