Q: Did you try the Bare Floor cleaner?
A: I had a sample jug of cleaner sent over from the nice people at Circa1850 to try out. It seems decent enough and pretty harmless. Does a good job and is easy to mix. Actually, the mix ratio of water to cleaner in a spray bottle is so large (very little cleaner to water) that a jug should last you quite some time. In a pinch it is OK to use a water-vinegar solution at a cup to one gallon of water for short periods of time. However, long term use will cause some wear of the finish. The cleaner is called Bare Floor and can be purchased directly from their web site. Either www.circa1850.com or www.swingpaints.com. Select “welcome” at the bottom of the screen, then choose the “cleaners” link.
