Q: My husband recently put 2-sided adhesive on the bottom of our chairs so they would not slide around. I now have gooey adhesive on my wood floor. What should I use to clean it so as not to ruin the wood flooring?
A: There is a product you can buy at Home Depot etc. called Super Degooper. That or similar products should work.
Our installer did not clean the glue up off his knee pads/shoes as he installed. We have tried mineral spirits, lighter fluid. Any other ideas. It was a Bostik adhesive?
Adhesive spilt on carpet
We put down wood flooring and some of the adhesive was accidentally dropped on the carpet. How do we get the adhesive out of the carpet? Do you have a solution?

I'm installing some hardwood flooring. I am going around a corner and transitioning the strips together (L pattern), but I'm ending up with groove to groove at the corner. Do they make a double sided tongue, or can I just nail the groove ends down?
