Q: I know I can find a 12 in. lambs wool applicator. What is the widest length that is usable, that can be purchased?
A: I honestly don’t know. I think the one I use is 8 or 10″ wide, and I’ve never seen one larger. You can purchase what is called a big foot applicator which is 18″.

When I use a lambs wool applicator to apply ****** Polyurethane, the applicator sheds lint and contaminates the finish. I am using a new applicator right out of the box. Should it be washed first to remove the lint or is there another trick?

Sanding an engineered floor
...If this happens to be an engineered wood floor, is there any problem with sanding and refinishing it? My understanding is that you can, but this type of floor canâ€™t take this process as often as a solid wood floor. Is that true?
