Q:My daughter left a dish on the floor and it left a white circle on wood floor (from the moisture). How can I get that out?
I’m not sure what kind of finish we have. I know the house was built in 1959.
A: It sounds like a wax finish to me. Give the spot a light rub with fine steel wood or a fine scrubbing pad and a bit of mineral spirits. Apply a light coat of wax.
