Whitish patches of “lifting” polyurethane

I am just applying the second topcoat of an oil based clear polyurethane. The first coat had just over 12 hours drying time. There are slightly whitish patches of lifting polyurethane appearing from where I’ve gone over the first coat. They were not apparent prior to applying the second coat. It was well sanded and clean.

Lost luster

In 2001, I refinished my hardwood floors. I used Mini Wax stain and Mini Wax Super Fast Drying Polyurethane for Floors products. I put on 3 coats of the Polyurethane. My wood floors have now lost its luster. There are also a few spots where there looks like there are green bubbles. How can I bring back the luster? Do I need to refinish again?

Newly finished floor feels rough

My newly installed hardwood floors feel rough when you wipe your hand across them. Our contractor said he doesn’t know of too many people who sit on the floor so it shouldn’t be a problem. It feels this way after 4 coats of polyurethane. Is this the way it should feel?

Sanded and still have water stains

I have sanded a floor. Now I have to remove some water stains. How do I do this without more sanding?

Nails or staples for Brazilian walnut?

I am about to lay a Brazilian walnut 3/4′ floor and was wondering if flooring nails or staples are less likely to crack tongue when using air nailer. The flooring is extremely hard and I would like to avoid cracking.
