Finish peeled off floor, in strips

Well, despite his care, within about two weeks of putting the final coat on, it started yellowing. We decided to let it go. About 5 months later we noticed that the finish was starting to peel. We can peel large and long strips of finish from the floor. Needless to say we are very disapointed with the product.

Two termite damaged boards

There are two lines of what appears to be termite damage, on just two floor boards. Can I just use wood filler for these?

With or without paper or felt?

Wood Flooring Guy, I am having unfinished 3,4 and 5″ Walnut flooring Installed. One installer says to glue and nail it down, without paper or felt to hold better and prevent cupping. Installer #2 says use paper or felt , nail every 8″, and if concerned bisquit and glue each end.

We had a new prefinished oak floor installed. On several of the more knotty or highly grained boards the finish and actual wood are flaking and peeling up. Is this normal?

Nailing through the female/grove side?

I’m repairing water damage to a hardwood floor I installed 3 years ago. The damage is small and simply requires me to pull up about 3 feet of flooring. To replace new boards, I have to nail through the female or grove side of the maple. Any ideas on how this can be done?
