How do I get rid of scuff marks?

Q: I rearranged my bedroom, which has hardwood flooring. The dressers left scuff marks from me moving them. How do I get rid of the scuff marks?

A: Lightly buff the individually affected boards and apply a very thin coat of polyurethane with a sheen to match what you have.
