Can floating laminate flooring be placed over kitchen linoleum flooring?
Q: Can floating laminate flooring be placed over kitchen linoleum flooring, or should the linoluem be removed?
A: We should always go by product manufacturers specifications and use the padding they recommend/provide. I don’t know of any reason floating laminate cannot be installed over linoleum, provided the floor is flat. In particular, without any humps in the floor.
